Anna P. Sammons is a criminal defense attorney in Eugene, Oregon. The founder of the Law Office of Anna P. Sammons, she represents clients throughout the Eugene area. She has extensive experience with DUI cases, as well as cases involving domestic violence, false accusations, sex crimes, violent crimes, and other misdemeanors and felonies. She also handles Title IX cases and sex offender registration matters.
Ms. Sammons has over 18 years of legal experience and has spent her entire career as a criminal defense attorney. Prior to opening her Oregon-based criminal defense firm, she spent over a decade as an appellate attorney in New York City. She is dedicated to providing the best possible defense to her clients, fighting for their rights and working hard to obtain the best possible outcome.
Ms. Sammons earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Chicago. She went on to receive her law degree from the University of Chicago Law School. She previously worked as a mental health counselor and during law school she participated in the Mental Health Project. She holds a license to practice law before the state courts of Oregon and New York and the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon.
Outside of her criminal law practice, Ms. Sammons teaches criminal law and criminal procedure at Lane County Community College, lectures on issues related to criminal justice, and is the author of numerous publications.
