About Tana M. Fye
Tana M. Fye was born and raised in the Black Hills of South Dakota. She attended The University of South Dakota where she obtained Juris Doctor, Master of Public Administration and Bachelor of Arts degrees.
She first opened her law practice in Rapid City, South Dakota in 2010. She relocated to Nebraska with her husband, and reopened her law practice. She now serves as managing attorney for FGH Law Office LLC. She is currently the Seward County Public Defender and previously served as Deputy Buffalo County Public Defender. Tana primarily practices in the areas of criminal defense, juvenile law, and public health law. She is happy to consult with clients regarding other types of matters as well, including adoptions, guardianships, nonprofit organization law, and personal injury.
Tana serves as Co-Chair of the Rural Practice Section, and is active on the Legal Services Committee and the Juvenile Law Section of the Nebraska State Bar Association. She is a member of the Nebraska Criminal Defense Attorneys Association and a State Ambassador and member of the American Association of Premier DUI Attorneys. She is also a member of the Commission on Children and the Courts, appointed by the Chief Justice of the Nebraska Supreme Court.
