Barbara Bowden recently received advanced level training, from the American Association of Premier DUI Attorneys, on how to use a driver’s internal body clock to win DUI cases. Barbara received training on how a driver’s internal body clock can be assessed on both the Modified Romberg Balance Test and the One Leg Stand Test. If a driver’s internal body clock is found to be within +/- 5 seconds of 30 seconds, the defense can get an officer to testify that the driver’s internal body clock is consistent with the driver being not impaired at the time of the stop.
