Bryan Corbett

Bryan Alan Corbett recently received advanced level training, from the American Association of Premier DUI Attorneys, on how to Fight The Lack Of Convergence Test. Bryan received training on the issues with the Lack of Convergence Test. Important issues include: the test may not be reliable because some people normally have the inability to cross their eyes, officers can produce an adverse outcome if they fail to let a person wear their glasses during the test, and officers can also produce an adverse outcome if they bring the stimulus in closer than 2 inches from the bridge of the nose.

The American Association of Premier DUI Attorneys has compiled information from Judges, Traffic Safety Resource Prosecutors (the Top DUI Prosecutors in each State), DUI Prosecutors, current Law Enforcement Officers, former Law Enforcement Officers, and DUI Defense Attorneys to determine exactly what skills, knowledge, training, tools, resources, and strategies win the most DUI cases at trial and are also used to get DUI cases successfully resolved for the defense prior to trial.

When people need a DUI Attorney, the biggest challenge is knowing whether or not an attorney truly has the skills, knowledge, training, tools, resources, and strategies that are needed to successfully resolve and win DUI cases. Countless attorneys handle DUI cases. But, only a very small percentage have the skills, knowledge, training, tools, resources, and strategies that are needed to successfully resolve and win DUI cases.

Members of the American Association of Premier DUI Attorneys have received advanced level training on the strategies that win the most DUI cases at trial and are also used to get DUI cases successfully resolved for the defense prior to trial. Members of the American Association of Premier DUI Attorneys also have access to the resources and tools that are used to win and successfully resolve DUI cases and these are resources and tools that only a very small percentage of DUI attorneys have access to and use.

Bryan Alan Corbett was born and raised in Statesville, North Carolina. He is married to Alexandria Brinkley Corbett, and the couple welcomed their first child, a son named Hudson Alexander Corbett, in September, 2015. Alexandria received a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is a licensed North Carolina Real Estate Broker.

Bryan attended several different high schools in the Iredell County area, which afforded him the opportunity to meet more people in the community than most. He attended West Iredell and North Iredell, before graduating from Alexander Central. Upon graduation, he attended Western Carolina University on a baseball scholarship, graduating from WCU in 2009 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management and a minor in Business Administration.

Work Experience

Bryan’s hopes of pursuing a professional baseball career were dashed by shoulder surgery, and so immediately after graduating from Western Carolina, he moved to San Antonio, Texas, to work as a project superintendent at his father’s construction company, traveling throughout the United States to build facilities for the United States armed forces. While living in San Antonio, Bryan became a Texas Certified Mold Consultant and Remediation Contractor and formed B.A.C. Environmental Consulting.

Law school

Bryan moved back to North Carolina in 2012 to pursue his dream of becoming an attorney. Toward that end, he attended Charlotte School of Law, graduating magna cum laude in 2015.

Internships

During law school, he became intimately familiar with the inner-workings of courtrooms during his internships in the Iredell County District Attorney’s Office, the Mecklenburg County District Attorney’s Office, the United States Attorney’s Office, and a private law firm located in Charlotte.

Awards and achievements during law school

Never one to be outworked by a peer or colleague, Bryan not only graduated from law school with honors, but distinguished himself additionally by serving as Senior Executive Editor of the Charlotte Law Review, as a Charlotte School of Law Ambassador, and he frequently volunteered at the Charlotte Men’s Shelter.

Bryan also sat on the executive board of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society, and was a member of the Moot Court Honor Board. Moreover, Bryan received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Legal Writing I, Legal Writing II, and Pre-Trial Litigation-Criminal Intensive.

Personal

When he is not working, Bryan enjoys the outdoors, golfing, and spending time with family and friends. He purposely chose an office location in the heart of the area in which he was born and raised, as he endeavors every day to help improve the quality of life for those in and around Statesville.

Bryan is proud of his ongoing effort to always maintain an atmosphere that encourages intimate and personal interaction with each client.

The core tenets of his practice are ethics and integrity. Above all else, he wants clients to know that he wholeheartedly cares both about their case and the quality of the representation he provides.
