Daniel Hartpence St. Petersburg Florida, Daniel Hartpence Attorney, Daniel Hartpence DUI, Daniel Hartpence DUI AttorneyDaniel Hartpence recently received advanced level training, from the American Association of Premier DUI Attorneys, on how to fight Marijuana (Cannabis) DUI Cases. It is critical for attorneys to understand the general and clinical indicators that law enforcement officers are trained to look for in marijuana cases and to know the alternative causes for these indicators. Importantly, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) states that marijuana impairment can rapidly diminish between 1 and 2 1/2 hours, that some metabolites are non-impairing, and that concentrations of metabolites found in a person’s system cannot be tied to impairment. In fighting and winning marijuana DUI cases, it is important to know that the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests are not effective in detecting marijuana impairment. This training was provided by Trey Tull, a Standardized Field Sobriety Testing Instructor Member of the American Association of Premier DUI Attorneys and he is based out of West Monroe, Louisiana.

The American Association of Premier DUI Attorneys has compiled information from Judges, Traffic Safety Resource Prosecutors (the Top DUI Prosecutors in each State), DUI Prosecutors, current Law Enforcement Officers, former Law Enforcement Officers, and DUI Defense Attorneys to determine exactly what skills, knowledge, training, tools, resources, and strategies win the most DUI cases at trial and are also used to get DUI cases successfully resolved for the defense prior to trial.

When people need a DUI Attorney, the biggest challenge is knowing whether or not an attorney truly has the skills, knowledge, training, tools, resources, and strategies that are needed to successfully resolve and win DUI cases. Countless attorneys handle DUI cases. But, only a very small percentage have the skills, knowledge, training, tools, resources, and strategies that are needed to successfully resolve and win DUI cases.

Members of the American Association of Premier DUI Attorneys have received advanced level training on the strategies that win the most DUI cases at trial and are also used to get DUI cases successfully resolved for the defense prior to trial. Members of the American Association of Premier DUI Attorneys also have access to the resources and tools that are used to win and successfully resolve DUI cases and these are resources and tools that only a very small percentage of DUI attorneys have access to and use.

Danny Hartpence was born and raised in Fayetteville, Georgia. As the son of a chiropractor and teacher, he was instilled with the drive and motivation necessary to succeed and excel. He went to Starr’s Mill High School, then on to Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida. At Eckerd, Danny played baseball and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and a minor in Classic History.

While attending college at Eckerd, Danny fell in love with the Tampa Bay Area and decided to attend Law School at Stetson University College of Law. While there, he was a member of several organizations, including the Board of Governors for the Young Lawyers Division – Student Division, and was awarded multiple scholarships and honors for his work at Stetson. After his first year of law school, Danny attended the Intellectual Property Summer Institute at Franklin Pierce Law School (now University of New Hampshire), where he underwent intensive Intellectual Property studies. After his second year of law school, Danny was selected as a law clerk for Brannock & Humphries in Tampa. At Brannock & Humphries, he learned how complex and important appellate work is, and how to effectively write briefs and research appellate issues. During his final year at Stetson, he served as a Certified Legal Intern with the State Attorney’s Office for the 13th Judicial Circuit, in Hillsborough County.

After graduation Danny accepted a position with the Hillsborough County State Attorney’s Office. As an Assistant State Attorney, Danny tried over 100 cases ranging from 1st degree felonies, punishable by life, to 2nd degree misdemeanors. He served in county, traffic, juvenile, and felony courts. Danny has written multiple appeals and successfully argued numerous motions. The experience Danny gained at the State Attorney’s Office allows him to understand the prosecution’s intentions and has molded him into a skilled trial attorney.

After his time at the State Attorney’s Office, Danny accepted a position at Pearlman & Clark, P.A., where he is now fully committed to the firm’s belief in serving their clients to the best their ability. It is Danny’s, and the firm’s, belief that clients be kept informed every step of the way throughout the stressful situation of a criminal or civil case. Ensuring the client’s interests is always the top priority.
