Dimitrios Makridis

Dimitrios Makridis recently received advanced level training, from the American Association of Premier DUI Attorneys, on how to use fatigue and drowsiness to fight DUI cases. Dimitrios received training on the how drivers arrested and prosecuted for being under the influence of alcohol and/or CNS Depressants can easily be misdiagnosed and wrongfully arrested for DUI when they were simply fatigued or drowsy at the time of the incident. The information in this training was provided by Adam Pollack. Mr. Pollack is an AAPDA Executive Member of the Association. Mr. Pollack’s office is located in Orlando, FL and his website is http://orl-law.com/.

The American Association of Premier DUI Attorneys has compiled information from Judges, Traffic Safety Resource Prosecutors (the Top DUI Prosecutors in each State), DUI Prosecutors, current Law Enforcement Officers, former Law Enforcement Officers, and DUI Defense Attorneys to determine exactly what skills, knowledge, training, tools, resources, and strategies win the most DUI cases at trial and are also used to get DUI cases successfully resolved for the defense prior to trial.

When people need a DUI Attorney, the biggest challenge is knowing whether or not an attorney truly has the skills, knowledge, training, tools, resources, and strategies that are needed to successfully resolve and win DUI cases. Countless attorneys handle DUI cases. But, only a very small percentage have the skills, knowledge, training, tools, resources, and strategies that are needed to successfully resolve and win DUI cases.

Members of the American Association of Premier DUI Attorneys have received advanced level training on the strategies that win the most DUI cases at trial and are also used to get DUI cases successfully resolved for the defense prior to trial. Members of the American Association of Premier DUI Attorneys also have access to the resources and tools that are used to win and successfully resolve DUI cases and these are resources and tools that only a very small percentage of DUI attorneys have access to and use.

After graduating from Warren G. Harding High School in 2003, Dimitrios Makridis moved to Columbus to attend The Ohio State University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Fisher College of Business. During his time at OSU, he earned varsity letter recognition, Academic All Big-Ten Honors, and multiple Big Ten Championships as a long snapper for the Buckeyes under Coach Jim Tressel.

After graduating from OSU, Mr. Makridis received his Juris Doctor degree from Capital University Law School. While attending Capital, Mr. Makridis worked for the Columbus City Prosecutor’s Office, as well as Capital University’s General Litigation Clinic.

As an intake officer with the City Prosecutor’s Office, Mr. Makridis gained valuable experience dealing with a wide variety of criminal misdemeanor complaints, charges, and offenses.

Mr. Makridis then worked for a small firm right after law school, where he gained a broad-based knowledge in various areas of civil litigation—including medical malpractice, worker’s compensation, improper employment termination, alleged violation of civil rights, contract litigation, business disputes, the creation of business entities, and landlord / tenant law.

Mr. Makridis then decided to live out his dream of being his own boss with Makridis Law Firm, LLC, where he handles criminal defense, OVI / DUI, traffic offenses, bankruptcy, social security disability, automobile accident, personal injury, workers’ compensation, and employment cases.
