Glenn Justis recently received advanced level training, from the American Association of Premier DUI Attorneys, on how to effectively educate clients during the initial consultation. It is critical for clients to understand that DUI investigations are standardized nationally, you have access to all of the officer’s training materials, the DUI investigation is only scientifically reliable if the investigation is done correctly, and you will be able to identify every mistake that the officer made and every area where the officer did not conduct the investigation by the book. It is important for clients to understand that is not them versus the cop, rather it is the book versus the cop. Clients need to be armed with all of the information they need in order for them to make an educated decision about how they would like to proceed with their case. Glenn graduated from The Citadel in 1990 earning a BS in Business Administration. After working in the textile industry for 14 years he went back to law school and graduated from the Charleston School of Law in 2007. He earned the Arthur G Howe Trial Advocacy Award upon graduating and started his legal career as a prosecutor. Glenn worked his way up from DUIs drug possession cases to handle violent crimes including Murder, Kidnapping, Armed Robbery, and Rape.
After taking five months off the hike the entire 2,190.9 mile Appalachian Trail, he opened The Justis Law Firm and now uses his legal knowledge and tenacity to fight for you. As a lawyer since 2007 he has handled nearly 5,000 criminal and traffic cases.
Glenn and his wife have been married since 1991 and have on son. In his spare time Glenn, an Eagle Scout, serves as a Scoutmaster in a local Boy Scout troop.
