Guy Notte

Guy J. Notte recently received advanced level training, from the American Association of Premier DUI Attorneys, on how to fight the results of the Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus (HGN) Test when it is conducted inside a patrol car. Guy received training on the many reasons why an officer cannot properly administer the HGN Test on a driver when both the driver and the officer are seated inside the patrol car. This training was provided to Association Members by Travis Jones. Mr. Jones is an AAPDA Field Sobriety Testing and Breath Testing Expert Member of the Association. Mr. Jones’ office is located in St. Peters, MO.

The American Association of Premier DUI Attorneys has compiled information from Judges, Traffic Safety Resource Prosecutors (the Top DUI Prosecutors in each State), DUI Prosecutors, current Law Enforcement Officers, former Law Enforcement Officers, and DUI Defense Attorneys to determine exactly what skills, knowledge, training, tools, resources, and strategies win the most DUI cases at trial and are also used to get DUI cases successfully resolved for the defense prior to trial.

When people need a DUI Attorney, the biggest challenge is knowing whether or not an attorney truly has the skills, knowledge, training, tools, resources, and strategies that are needed to successfully resolve and win DUI cases. Countless attorneys handle DUI cases. But, only a very small percentage have the skills, knowledge, training, tools, resources, and strategies that are needed to successfully resolve and win DUI cases.

Members of the American Association of Premier DUI Attorneys have received advanced level training on the strategies that win the most DUI cases at trial and are also used to get DUI cases successfully resolved for the defense prior to trial. Members of the American Association of Premier DUI Attorneys also have access to the resources and tools that are used to win and successfully resolve DUI cases and these are resources and tools that only a very small percentage of DUI attorneys have access to and use.

Guy J. Notte attended John Marshall Law School (Chicago, Illinois, 1964-1966) After relocating to Atlanta he began practicing law in May, 1968.

Mr. Notte attained the rank of Captain in the United States Army in U.S. Army Intelligence. After leaving the service in December 1969, he began actively practicing criminal defense and personal injury law in Atlanta.

Mr. Notte taught at the then Massey Law College in Atlanta in 1970 and actually was Dean of this school for two years. In 1978, the judges of the DeKalb-Rockdale Circuit appointed Mr. Notte the Public Defender of Rockdale County. He represented defendants charged with crimes ranging from DUI’s to the Death Penalty.

Mr. Notte has defended those accused of crimes in many states both in Federal and States Courts. In 1974, Mr. Notte appeared before and was admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court. He is also admitted to practice in all the Federal District Courts in Georgia as well as the Federal District Court of Columbia, South Carolina. His practice has included the defense of people from Pine Bluff, Arkansas to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and from New York to Florida.

As you will see in the representative cases to follow, Mr. Notte has been on the cutting edge of making law and arguing for exceptions to many of its principles.
