Hollis T Holleman Gulfport Mississippi, Hollis T Holleman Attorney, Hollis T Holleman DUI, Hollis T Holleman DUI AttorneyHollis T Holleman recently received advanced level training, from the American Association of Premier DUI Attorneys, on how to fight Marijuana (Cannabis) DUI Cases. It is critical for attorneys to understand the general and clinical indicators that law enforcement officers are trained to look for in marijuana cases and to know the alternative causes for these indicators. Importantly, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) states that marijuana impairment can rapidly diminish between 1 and 2 1/2 hours, that some metabolites are non-impairing, and that concentrations of metabolites found in a person’s system cannot be tied to impairment. In fighting and winning marijuana DUI cases, it is important to know that the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests are not effective in detecting marijuana impairment. This training was provided by Trey Tull, a Standardized Field Sobriety Testing Instructor Member of the American Association of Premier DUI Attorneys and he is based out of West Monroe, Louisiana.

The American Association of Premier DUI Attorneys has compiled information from Judges, Traffic Safety Resource Prosecutors (the Top DUI Prosecutors in each State), DUI Prosecutors, current Law Enforcement Officers, former Law Enforcement Officers, and DUI Defense Attorneys to determine exactly what skills, knowledge, training, tools, resources, and strategies win the most DUI cases at trial and are also used to get DUI cases successfully resolved for the defense prior to trial.

When people need a DUI Attorney, the biggest challenge is knowing whether or not an attorney truly has the skills, knowledge, training, tools, resources, and strategies that are needed to successfully resolve and win DUI cases. Countless attorneys handle DUI cases. But, only a very small percentage have the skills, knowledge, training, tools, resources, and strategies that are needed to successfully resolve and win DUI cases.

Members of the American Association of Premier DUI Attorneys have received advanced level training on the strategies that win the most DUI cases at trial and are also used to get DUI cases successfully resolved for the defense prior to trial. Members of the American Association of Premier DUI Attorneys also have access to the resources and tools that are used to win and successfully resolve DUI cases and these are resources and tools that only a very small percentage of DUI attorneys have access to and use.

Hollis Holleman represents the third Holleman generation to serve South Mississippi’s legal needs. Hollis grew up hearing one legendary legal story after another about his grandfathers, Boyce Holleman and Brig. Gen. William “Slater” Hollis. Knowing both of his grandfathers were highly successful attorneys having both argued before the Supreme Court of the United States, Hollis felt adamantly focused on following in their footsteps from a very young age.  He has maintained a passion for American jurisprudence ever since, and this passion has seen Hollis achieve consistently exceptional success in his young legal career. His attention to detail and understanding of the law allowed him to score in the 93rd percentile among all United States examinees on the Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam in March 2018. Four months later, Hollis once again proved his exceptional understanding of law by scoring in the 90th percentile in the country on the Multistate Bar Exam. Both exams are administered by the National Conference of Bar Examiners and must be taken by all prospective attorneys.

Hollis is the son of Dean and Laura Holleman of Gulfport. He is happily married to Lucy Jackson Holleman, formerly of Montgomery, Alabama.
