James Bendell recently received advanced level training, from the American Association of Premier DUI Attorneys, on how to effectively educate clients during the initial consultation. It is critical for clients to understand that DUI investigations are standardized nationally, you have access to all of the officer’s training materials, the DUI investigation is only scientifically reliable if the investigation is done correctly, and you will be able to identify every mistake that the officer made and every area where the officer did not conduct the investigation by the book. It is important for clients to understand that is not them versus the cop, rather it is the book versus the cop. Clients need to be armed with all of the information they need in order for them to make an educated decision about how they would like to proceed with their case. This training was provided by Nicolas Geman, a Colorado State Ambassador for the American Association of Premier DUI Attorneys. Nicolas Geman is based out of Denver, Colorado and his website is https://www.gemancriminaldefense.com/.
The American Association of Premier DUI Attorneys has compiled information from Judges, Traffic Safety Resource Prosecutors (the Top DUI Prosecutors in each State), DUI Prosecutors, current Law Enforcement Officers, former Law Enforcement Officers, and DUI Defense Attorneys to determine exactly what skills, knowledge, training, tools, resources, and strategies win the most DUI cases at trial and are also used to get DUI cases successfully resolved for the defense prior to trial.
When people need a DUI Attorney, the biggest challenge is knowing whether or not an attorney truly has the skills, knowledge, training, tools, resources, and strategies that are needed to successfully resolve and win DUI cases. Countless attorneys handle DUI cases. But, only a very small percentage have the skills, knowledge, training, tools, resources, and strategies that are needed to successfully resolve and win DUI cases.
Members of the American Association of Premier DUI Attorneys have received advanced level training on the strategies that win the most DUI cases at trial and are also used to get DUI cases successfully resolved for the defense prior to trial. Members of the American Association of Premier DUI Attorneys also have access to the resources and tools that are used to win and successfully resolve DUI cases and these are resources and tools that only a very small percentage of DUI attorneys have access to and use.
After completing his Bachelor’s degree at the College of William and Mary, Mr. Bendell received his Juris Doctor degee from Rutgers Law School. Since then, he has accumulated over 35 years of trial experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in civil and criminal cases. He has also served part-time as a Superior Court Commissioner and Judge Pro-Tem. He also was worked as a prosecutor for several years, with a heavy case load of DUI cases.
Accepting only a few cases at a time, Mr. Bendell treats each client with the focus and attention needed to help them achieve their highest legal goals. He maintains close contact throughout the process via in-person, written, text and telephone communication, and through his firm’s cloud-based case management system. This system sends and receives documentation on the same day, avoiding potential delays with the postal mail system.
His work as a Superior Court Commissioner and Judge Pro-Tem included presiding over hearings and jury trials, providing him with a neutral view of cases and a unique understanding of the trial system. This extremely rare collection of legal experiences allows attorney James Bendell to have empathy for all types of clients while remaining intellectually objective. For persons charged with DUI, there are few legal professionals who can represent his clients’ legal interests more successfully.
James is licensed in both Idaho and Washington.
