Brown recently received advanced level training, from the American Association of Premier DUI Attorneys, on how to effectively and efficiently meet a client’s needs while representing them on a DUI Case. Patrick received training on setting up a system to manage workflow, information, and resources to most effectively and efficiently communicate with a client while working successfully through every phase of a DUI case. The American Association of Premier DUI Attorneys has compiled information from Judges, Traffic Safety Resource Prosecutors (the Top DUI Prosecutors in each State), DUI Prosecutors, current Law Enforcement Officers, former Law Enforcement Officers, and DUI Defense Attorneys to determine exactly what skills, knowledge, training, tools, resources, and strategies win the most DUI cases at trial and are also used to get DUI cases successfully resolved for the defense prior to trial.

Pat was born and raised in Wooster, Ohio, and went on to attend The Ohio State University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science with a minor in English.  He then attended the Cincinnati College of Law, where he earned magna cum laude and Order of the Coif honors, and received the National City Bank Prize for Wills, Trusts, and Future Interests.

While in law school, Pat assisted with the Ohio Innocence Project’s evidence reform initiative and externed for the Honorable David L. Bunning of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Ohio.

After achieving an overall 100th percentile score on the July 2010 Ohio Bar Examination, Pat began his legal career representing clients in the greater Cincinnati area in the areas of criminal defense and domestic relations, establishing a successful trial record in the process. He handled cases ranging from homicide to OVIs, including numerous high profile criminal cases.  Pat then practiced complex environmental litigation before moving back to Wooster to build a law practice.

Pat has had tremendous success in all phases of courtroom litigation, including suppression motions, trials, and appeals.  His record of success speaks for itself, and he can provide highly sophisticated and effective strategies to fight your OVI case.
