The American Association of Premier DUI Attorneys has compiled information from Judges, Traffic Safety Resource Prosecutors (the Top DUI Prosecutors in each State), DUI Prosecutors, current Law Enforcement Officers, former Law Enforcement Officers, and DUI Defense Attorneys to determine exactly what skills, knowledge, training, tools, resources, and strategies win the most DUI cases at trial and are also used to get DUI cases successfully resolved for the defense prior to trial.

When people need a DUI Attorney, the biggest challenge is knowing whether or not an attorney truly has the skills, knowledge, training, tools, resources, and strategies that are needed to successfully resolve and win DUI cases. Countless attorneys handle DUI cases. But, only a very small percentage have the skills, knowledge, training, tools, resources, and strategies that are needed to successfully resolve and win DUI cases.

Members of the American Association of Premier DUI Attorneys have received advanced level training on the strategies that win the most DUI cases at trial and are also used to get DUI cases successfully resolved for the defense prior to trial. Members of the American Association of Premier DUI Attorneys also have access to the resources and tools that are used to win and successfully resolve DUI cases and these are resources and tools that only a very small percentage of DUI attorneys have access to and use.

Mr. Iyer looks back on how he got to be a battle tested and successful Denver Criminal, DUI, Juvenile and Dependency and Neglect Lawyer. Here is his journey in fulfilling his father’s and his dream of being a lawyer, and in time a great human being, working to help the little people fight the powers to be (corporate and government)… As a child, Mr. Iyer had a deep sense of right and wrong. Mr. Iyer always felt the pain and anguish of the weakest and most vulnerable members of society. As a kid, his dad would take him to the Courts in India. Mr. Iyer never really understood why his father was always fighting with people – he was always in court. (Later on in life Mr. Iyer realized that his father was the little guy always getting the short end of the stick by the big shots). Mr. Iyer realized that he must be the very best lawyer and serve the best interests of his clients by getting them the results they deserve in a cost effective and timely manner. In his late teens, his father died and he had to fend for himself with some help from family. Mr. Iyer knew that he had to get a solid education to make something with his life. Mr. Iyer graduated with a Masters from a premier University in India. A few years later, he was admitted to practice as a Chartered Accountant. Mr. Iyer worked in India and then in Dubai (U.A.E.) for several years gaining insights into people and their conduct. Mr. Iyer also gained financial expertise during these years as an accountant and auditor. In 1988, Mr. Iyer immigrated to Denver and worked for a reputed jazz Club gaining valuable business experience. Mr. Iyer qualified as a Colorado CPA, CMA; CIA; and CBA. In 1991, for family reasons, Mr. Iyer moved to L.A. and worked for a large Cellular Telephone Company. Mr. Iyer saw first-hand how large corporations legally dominated and subjugated the helpless-through artful drafting of one-sided legal documents. Mr. Iyer knew this was unfair and decided to go out on my own. In 1994, Mr. Iyer established his tax practice and in 1999 he was admitted to the U. S. Tax Court. On being a licensed in Colorado and Wyoming, he worked as a Deputy District Attorney in Colorado prosecuting all types of criminal cases for years. The experience and training Mr. Iyer received as a Prosecutor enables him to fully understand how a prosecutor’s mind works and talk the same language as the police and prosecutor which greatly benefits the criminal defense clients. In 2005, Mr. Iyer established Iyer Law Office, LLC, with a fistful of dollars and struggled the first two years but gained tremendous experience and insights into defending the accused. Mr. Iyer gained the trust and respect of his clients, the prosecutors, the judges, and his peers. In a short period a time, he gained the trust of the community and now have a successful criminal defense law practice; primarily focused in Criminal Defense. In 2007 Mr. Iyer graduated from the National Institute of Trial Advocacy’s Juvenile Trial Program. In 2008 he graduate from Gerry Spence’s Wyoming Trial College Trial Strategies Program. Since 2008, the Colorado State Court Administrator’s Office appointed Mr. Iyer to represent parents in Dependency and Neglect cases within the 13th Judicial District. In 2009, the National Criminal Defense College admitted him, on a scholarship, to attend their most prestigious residential trial training program (over 2 weeks) where he was trained by the most pre-eminent of trial lawyers in the country. In 2010, The NACDL offered him a scholarship to attend their Super Defenses and the Sex Crimes Defenses Seminars. My. Iyer is committed to better serve clients by getting results they deserve; as well as be the very best criminal defense lawyer in Colorado and possibly in our country, the United States of America. In August 2011, he graduated from Gerry Spence’s Trial Lawyers’ College in Wyoming, Graduate Programs I and II. I attend 45 to 60 CLE hours on an average per year gaining state of the art creative defense in Criminal Law, DUI Law, Juvenile Law, and Dependency and Neglect Law in order to provide and use the latest techniques in the defense of his clients. Mr. Iyer graduated from the National College of Drunk Driving Defenses Program in July 2014. The National College of Drunk Driving graduation will further equip him to provide a more scientific and state of the art DUI Defense to his DUI clients and improve their chances of vindication from DUI charges. In 2014 he was awarded the 10 Best Customer Satisfaction Award by the American Institute for DUI/DWAI Attorneys, Washington DC.  In January 2014, he graduated from the Virginia School of Law Trial Advocacy College gaining invaluable skills in Criminal Trial Practice.
