Dominick R. Welch

Mr. Welch brings a sense of personal ownership to all his client’s cases and takes a position of care and support unmatched by any competitor. He feels although the average person may make a mistake, it should not cost them everything, and they should be able to maintain their dignity throughout the court process.

Attorney Welch was previously employed by the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office. While there, he was trained in the prosecutor’s confidential negotiation guidelines, which are not available to the public. He was further trained by the California Highway Patrol and the Dept. of Justice Crime Laboratory regarding Breath and Blood testing, search and seizure laws, and Field Sobriety Testing for Drugs and Alcohol.

Mr. Welch regularly practices in the special DUI-only courtrooms in Sacramento, Placer, Sutter-Yuba, Yolo, El Dorado, and Nevada Counties. He regularly negotiates and performs motions with the selected DUI prosecutors and judges assigned to the DUI department.
